Van getting more competitve next year

Top 4 Dmen free agents would probably get more than premium middle 6 fwd Mikheyev. Dumba isn't really needed with the growth of Bear but if he's signing for a decent amount like 4m, then maybe he could be used to have a strong 3rd pairing. I do think Schenn would be back though. Graves would be a nice add but I suspect he will cost them a lot more to land, maybe even 6m. They should practice a little patience there.

I don't disagree on Graves, particularly given the think UFA class this year. I left $4M+ in cap room in case we needed to, however Canucks management have displayed ZERO patience, so I suspect they'll pay whatever.

You're probably right, but hopefully OEL being obn the books still prevents them. I do suspect they may buy him out as soon as next off-season instead of being patient.

Kampf would probably resign in Toronto for that amount, he's probably going to look for 3m+ with another team, maybe 4m with Vancouver seeing that Mikheyev got 4.75m.

I hope they trade Garland and are unable to deal Boeser before he has a bounce back and he decides to stay like DeBrusk in Boston.

I only chose Detroit because of their cap space. Yzerman is one of (if not the most) the smartest GMs out there, so if he does, he'll do it as part of his plan.
