Chych value dropped

Arizona wants top assets, not good assets.
I imagine they'd accept 1 top prospect + 1st and roster player before this.

His value hasn't dropped

They don't want to budge on the ask so in a sense it might drop but they will still want 2 1st.

The Oilers can still use a puck moving defenceman, CAR might not mind getting him, even the Leafs. There's also the PENS who I think might be landing him tomorrow depending on what happens with Brock McGinn. The Sens might pay up since they might as well do something here.

The Blues could be in the mix as well if none of those teams pay up.

The demand for him has dropped, so yes, his value has dropped since two weeks ago.

Maybe his demand and value has dropped but that doesn't mean AZ will accept it. They've shown that they're willing to hold out.

There's nothing in that deal that makes them want to jump on it now, without at least a 2023 1st, they can hold until the draft or next season and get the same deal.
