It has already been reported that Kakko, Laffy, Miller, Othmann, Cuylle and the 2023 1st are off the table.
For the cap to work, Kravtsov has to be a piece of the trade and Leschyshyn has to be off the roster by 2/26/23. Those are two assets NYR are giving up. 2nds are definitely on the board for Kane, but keep in mind they also need to bear the cost of having a third party retain. NYR made moves already, Kane is not a necessity, and NYR are not going to empty the cupboard to get him. The absolute only way he comes to NYR is if Kane says only them and Chicago has to take the best offer. Regardless, we have to wait until 3/3 so NYR can accrue enough cap space to make the trade.

Or Chicago just keeps Kane if the return is too low. Kane isn't the Hawks GM.
