I don't expect the Bruins to make any noise at the deadline. Maybe a couple small moves for depth pieces. Here's some trade ideas / thoughts.

Chychrun to Boston, Bruins upgrade in terms of size on LD, get a player with term and really solidify their top four D for a few years. Arizona receives Grzelcyk who is a great puck moving LD, would play top minutes for them on a good contract, Bruins top D prospect, Wagner for cap reasons and their 1st. I imagine the Bruins offer would get beat by another team though.

Flames send a second to the Bruins for a potential middle six forward, AHL player, LD with a low cap hit, and a 5th rounder. Flames could use a right handed winger and maybe Smith could reinvent himself there with some good forwards. Flames could use some help on defense too. Zboril is young, has a low cap hit and could have some potential for them. Steen is an AHL forward and a 5th is added as well.

Bruins use their second and a couple young AHL centers to send over to Vancouver who sends them Schenn with 50% retained salary and a 4th round pick. A second has been the reported asking price for Schenn, Bruins get a 4th as well with retention by sending in a few young centers.

Bruins add some more depth by acquiring Puljujarvi and a 5th. Oilers receive a borderline NHL LD with a 4th rounder. Edmonton retains 1m to make the cap work. They open up some much needed cap space by sending Puljujarvi elsewhere.

Trade deadline ends with the Bruins adding some size and depth. Mike Reilly returns to the NHL and fills in for injured LD. Schenn is also a deph piece for the RD, filling in as needed.
