If the Canucks had started a rebuild

I just dont see why anyone would want Miller at this point. Get rid of the extension and he is a super enticing TDL piece, but that extension is so scary. Miller is only gonna be able to get moved with retention on the new deal imo. But if the canucks wait until the offseason and can find a suiter, they can get a few smaller pieces. Islanders are not a fit whatsoever tho. We only have defensively minded players, Miller has never heard of backchecking

Cool, canucks want to start a rebuild. Doesn’t mean the hawks would trade a second for a guy they don’t need

(they're undoing that trade from earlier this season - OP is showing what the Canucks *could* have done going back to last July instead of being in the spot they're in now)
