Motte cost a 4th last year, upgraded to a 3rd for the retention. Sign Motte after the season and find the money by trading Blais or letting him walk. Edmunson for the 1st and Jones and the 4th are for retention. Gives the Rangers Edmundson for 2 playoff runs at $1.75m cap hit. No other trades or dumb rentals, just let the kids play assuming they make the playoffs.

I agree that Harpur has been playing fine, but for the playoffs, they need depth at LD, Hajek just doesn't cut it. Rather see if Kravstov or Laffy can step up at RW.

I think that Kakko is playing fine and so is Vesey. I think depth is more important for the Rangers or if they really want to give up assets, going out and getting a star like Kane, Taresenko, or Horvat.
