Sharks suck. I had hope on Friday when they were being competitive with Carolina but having 5 unanswered goals against Chicago is a joke. I know some people just want to tank for Bedard and that might be the smartest option, but I obviously want my team to win and I think they can.
Meier-Hertl-Barabanov: Sharks best line by far last season
Labanc-Couture-Kunin: I think Labanc is much improved from last season and the points will come. I think this 2nd line has a bit of everything, with good offense from Labanc, a well-rounded Couture, and a physical, around-the-net goalscoring Kunin.
Lorentz-Bonino-Gregor: I think Lorentz has been very solid so far but still shouldn't be on the 2nd line. For Gregor, I thought he was good on Friday so I don't really understand why he was taken out of the lineup.
Svechnikov-Sturm-Nieto: All these guys have been good and this line is the shutdown line. Svechnikov can be swapped with Gadjovich.
Simek-Karlsson: I've liked Simek so far and believe he could be a good partner for EK65
Ferraro-Vlasic: Vlasic has shown he's much improved from last year and is worthy of 2nd pairing time
Megna-Benning: Haven't liked Benning so far but no one else we can really put in the lineup for him
Lindblom - Hard to scratch given he's making 2.5 for 2 years, but he's just been invisible to me through 4 games. See how these lines work and put him back in if the team is still struggling
Harrington - Not good in his first game
Powerplay can't be stacked, Sharks have no depth. It's been atrocious so far.
Penalty Kill can be whatever it's been so far.
