Opening Night

I am gonna be laughed at but I am predicting we are making the playoffs as at least a WC team. I just see too many players with so much to prove.

They'll be much improved. Defence is much better than last year. Sending down Barron was the right call, he looked overwhelmed. This team played 8 games in the preseason and never had their full lineup. Ppl forget how god awful Petry played with his family issues. He always was a bit inconsistent from year to year but last year he sunk a lot of their play on the back end.

They have a physical D with Guhle-Xhejak-Edmundson-Savard. Teams are NOT going to like playing them and they can score. 80 points which is a 20 point improvement should be expected.

If Gallagher doesnt get back to the old him, I'd be shocked. He came to camp in tremendous shape. That cup run and short offseason killed him, he only goes 100%!

Agreed, there was a story about him today (I didn't read it) about how he deadlifts 550 lbs. Can you imagine 550 lbs, that's like 2.5 times my own weight. The guy is in great shape, he says it's the best he has ever felt heading into the season, this is the guy that was until last season either on pace for or scoring 30 goals and he says he feels better no than he did then.
