Pageau’s shown he can handle 2nd line center duties, Palmieri fits better on the second line, and if Nelson can score 38 goals, why are we waiting for a goal scorer to fall out of the sky and land at LW1? As soon as Aatu’s ready, plug him in on that 3rd line and see how this goes!

Oh, and missing out on Kadri lets us sign Dobson to a long term deal. Might as well now.

I’m confident that Lou will be able to sign Dobson to a long-term deal worth less than that. Everyone was expecting a lot more for Pelech and Pulock, and look what they got. Despite his many flaws, the one thing he has been great at is locking up core guys to good contracts (not looking at you Anders Lee)
