I think that’s just a little bit too much from the leafs. Leaf fans are probably going to say it’s way too much but if you sub out the third with a second I think it’s fair.

My logic is Miller = Niemela and a first.

Sandin is easily available for a second from an offer sheet. Vancouver can say “hey, we’ll give you woo with a second for Sandin or we can just offer sheet him for a second.” Which I imagine Dubas accepts. I think the LA trade is probably fair but I don’t know much about Durzi

Fair enough, I think a 2nd would be understandable especially to convince Dubas in keeping things civil without an offer sheet. That deal works for me

As for Durzi, he’s a fantastic player. He’s a young RHD that played extremely well for limited time in LA. He’s 3rd on the depth chart behind Doughty and Roy so he’s somewhat under-utilized, especially with Walker being injured right now too. And LA is in need of LHD. The deal seems to me like it would work really well in terms of team needs

I would imagine the Leaf's would just try and move Sandin to LA for Durzi as that will fill the need for us much more than the pick from Vancouver.

Exactly, if they can’t afford Sandins contract they can’t afford Durzis either.
