I remember when everyone thought Jack Eichel was going to break the bank in order for anyone to get him because he was such a hot commodity and I remember how disappointed everyone was with the return he got. I feel like a lot of Calgary fans are going to be disappointed by the return.

Isles probably say no. St. Louis also says no.

I should re-phrase. Yes, the return matters. But IF the Blues are the team on the inside track for Tkachuk, that $7.5 almost HAS to be moved; either in the deal with Calgary itself or as a separate transaction. So, yes, you want to get all you can but if it's less than optimal return I still think you do it, IF the Blues are the team that lands Tkachuk and we want to extend him.
