Quoting: Sabresguy1987
No and if they miss the playoffs I dont think I will be devistated. Just want to keep seeing individual growth in tage, dahlin, power, krebs, cozens, mitts quinn, peterka, sammy etc. If they finish near the bottom I will be surprised I agree
Those 23 players will most likely start the season either on the ice or in the press box.
Let's all be happy that the team is making progress instead of standing still or regressing.
Signing Lyubushkin and Comrie was pure genius IMO.
Resigning Hinostroza was excellent as he will excel playing under the Granato stretch pass offense.
I think there will be at least one more move to add another RHD, but what do I know.
Lyubushkin, Fitzgerald and Samuelsson will make other teams very uncomfortable when they enter the Sabre zone.
Last season the opening line up included Bjork, Caggiula, Eakin, Hagg, Miller and Pysyk.
That line up started 4-1-1.
Replacing them with Quinn, Tuch, Krebs, Power, Lyubushkin, and Fitzgerald will certainly make the team significantly better.
While they lack stars, they undoubtedly have depth.
Is that depth sufficient to close that 25 point gap?
Maybe, more likely one more year.
