Description
Going with a 2.2% increase in the cap, which would follow what they did last year, according to the article I just read. Cap could also stay flat. Just another mock offseason with Bjork being added to the mix. He gives Boston, a lot of possibilities.

Hey Brekel, your Bruin knowledge is strong. Let me ask you this:

Why are you putting JFK at 3rd C when he hasn't played 1 pro hockey game, but you don't slot Heinen in there who had a good 1st year in Providence and was their best player in the Calder Cup this year?

This is a good mock draft although that 3rd line looks slow. If Beleskey isn't gone im hoping for a nice bounce back

Jesus, not sure why I never answered this. I just think, right now, it's JFK's job to lose b/c the organization brought him out of college early for a reason. I'm excited to see him this camp after an offseason with the team. He's a smart player with skill at both ends of the ice. He just needs to physically mature and get stronger. Bruins could very well go with another option; Backes to C and maybe Heinen to RW but for this mock, that's all I was trying to do (seeing JFK in the lineup that is).

Fair enough. But not sure it works the way you say. Bruins org. doesn't bring him out of school, he chooses to leave school and turn pro. "physically mature and get stronger", that's why I say he doesn't make the team this year because he needs a year to do that and learn pro game let alone Bruins system before joining the big squad.... His potential talent could change all that though.....

Well they brought him out of school early by promising to burn a year off his ELC. JFK wasn't signing here unless that was the deal. So no, the Bruins organization didn't bring him out of school b/c they could. They wanted him so they offered that.
