Description

This move leaves Dallas around 12.6M to sign Otter+Robo and some spares... probably pretty tight. Faksa has same term but a little cheaper than Dvorak, while Hakanpaa is much cheaper and 2 years less term, but also a much different player.

Dallas not in a position to really blow it up, they gotta keep trying to push it with those big contracts they are carrying. Theyll get 7M cap space from Pavelski+Glendening after next year, but Hintz and Gurianov will be up for raises, no doubt. Together they both earn 6M so 7+6=13M is likely enough to get it done and resign a few other spares again.

I left the roster at 24 players ... we could pass on re-signing either Clague or T. Pitlick, imo, but I left it at 24 because maybe Wright does't stick right away? Poehling draws in and Faksa+Evans move up the lineup.

Byron and Price on LTIR, but $15,834 in cap would remain if they were both activated.

I'd be hoping to move Drouin, but he will have to have an impressive go next season to make him appealing at all. No idea where he is even a fit other than maybe Seattle(seems like he fits with their current forward group, maybe too similar though), or Detroit(they have most their roster on expiring contracts so might be a good place for him to go to earn his next contract with a bunch of good young players who are looking to do the same.).
