Lou did say he would make hockey trades. Here is a hockey trade.

-Oilers get a younger goalie who has shown he can be consistently good-excellent on a nightly basis and has some deep playoff experience. A 40 point player (on a defense-first team) and a prospect who has shown promise but a change of scenery would probably do him wonders

-Islanders offload some cap. Get the perfect backup goalie to give Sorokin some nights off. A young middle 6 winger, who also could use a change of scenery. And a LD, who hasn't played in 2 seasons, so who knows what a team will get from him. Or he might never play again.

- I know offer sheets never happen. Calgary might be in a cap crunch depending on which of their free agents they sign. If Kylington is a cap casualty, Islanders should be all over it. A young LD who has started to put up points this season.


- The Puljujarvi contract is tricky. He deserves a raise but how much? I felt 3.5 AVV was reasonable

-Tyler Ennis - I don't know. Just an extra forward with some juice left in him. Maybe we get another Parise, maybe we get a dud. But for 750k I think it is worth it.
