Description

I bought out Tyler Johnsons contract because of his poor performance and his injuries. He would be better off with a team that makes the playoffs. It will also save money on resigning Dylan Strome and Kirby Dach.

Trading Patrick Kane and Jonathan Towes is a bad idea because they would get nothing back in return like the Claude Giroux trade. Also they have helped the team make the Stanley Cup 3 times and seeing them going away wouldn’t be liked by Chicago fans.

I did not resign Kevin Lankinen because of his performance during the season and he’s also not a starter goalie.

I signed Martin Jones because I thought he would be a good fit for the team.

I signed Casey Desmith because he would be a good back up for the team.

These contracts are awful, buying out Johnson is bad, and Lankinen is a better option than Jones or DeSmith because he's younger and still has room to grow. No need for this team to waste money on those guys.
