I don't think LA fans will love the trade. Detroit doesn't have a replacement for Hronek either. Not sure it makes sense for either team to be honest. Also no to taking the OEL contract. It would take a few firsts or high end prospects to eat that entire contract.

I don't know what is Ideal. I think both teams don't like that LA trade. I don't want OEL for 5 years even if the Canucks retained half his salary

Turcotte's value isn't high right now due to concussions, but his play in the AHL has actually been pretty good when he's healthy. The Kings aren't likely to sell him at a low point mostly only due to health concerns. In addition, I think his value is higher just in general, even with injuries. And finally, as has been pointed out here already, RD is the last place Kings need to make any additions.

This move makes no sense for the Kings.

Kings have no need for RHD. We have Doughty, Roy, Durzi, Spence, among others.
