Lucic isn't hurt, he will either be moved or other pieces will be. I don't think Calgary has to give up a second to move Monahan, if anything they just receive nothing in return in the form of "Future Considerations". The Flames re signed Mackey already which leads me to believe he is in favour with the team and likely gets the 3LD spot due to his play and being cheaper than Valimaki. Valimaki I think will be on the move, Gaudreau is getting too much here, maybe on the open market you see that contract but 8 years with Calgary the cap hit will be lower than 11.3M. Too much for Mangiapane as well.

its a literary device called an exaggeration. it tough for some people to grasp but for others it can be used to illustrate a point. ( point being he is healthy just not overly effective)
