My attempt at a senators offseason.
Draft:
Best available taken at 7th.

Signings:
Formenton and Jospeh I gave similar deals. Norris gets the Nico Hischier contract. Giroux contract I based it around the Pavelski deal in Dallas in 19-20.

Trades:
The Vegas trade is probably controversial but I figured moving 2 players with no trade protection would be easier. More of a hockey deal saves them cap and Vegas gets a solid player in Brown and veteran D.

Housekeeping:
Gaudette or Gambrell one of them doesn’t get resigned but it’s a coin flip for me. Also look for a trade for Zaitsev but don’t over pay to dump him you could always buyout next year or eat his money in a trade.

Yeah probably but also only 2 that are half decent that don’t have trade restrictions. I’d happily take Marchessault instead or patches if they would waive.

You’re probably right but they are in a massive cap
Crunch and I wouldn’t be surprised if they had to move quality pieces to facilitate a cap dump. What players do you think are most likely to get shipped out?
