He's currently the Kings #1 defenseman.

Everyone thought he was an average to good top four defenseman until Doughty went down with an injury. He then stepped up and took over and led the Kings defense to the playoffs, and looking damn good while doing so. In addition to passing the eye test, his analytics are fantastic.

The Kings currently have no desire to trade him.
