Lines with Hughes out for the season

Doesn't help win games when your players keep getting ejected for starting fights over CLEAN and LEGAL bodychecks.

Schneider’s hit on Boqvist was textbook. Sharangovich’s reaction was surprising. Wasn’t ejected.

Wahlstom’s knee-to-knee on Hughes was not at all clean.

Will be interesting to see who gets call-ups with the injuries piling up again. Would like to see De Leo, Foote, Walsh, etc

I think Wahlstom's hit was clean, it was just an unfortunate injury. Cannot understand why a clean hit has to lead to a fight. I'm fine with sticking up for your players, but this is hockey and clean hits are part of the game, no matter how big a star you are.

Clean hits happen all the time with no incident. Knee-to-knee hits are rarely clean.

Also worth noting the context here. Guys take shots at Hughes all the time. Every game. Many are dirty, late, whatever…and result in nothing. No complaints. Part of the game.

Also, funny that Subban’s hit on Blais was suspension-worthy, but Wahlstrom’s hit on Hughes was clean.
