Don't know if you get Draisatl signed on a bridge type deal, but the $ are close anyway! Interesting thought giving the 2 Oilers fresh starts, Buffalo giving away what might be 2 high end draft choices! O'Reilly the best player in the deal, but the picks make the deal worth while for Edmonton!

I agree re: Draisaitl. If I bridge him, it's for less money - something under $6MM. For $6.75MM AAV, it'd have to be for at least 5 years, possibly longer. You don't need to pay him big bucks for his RFA years.

Exactly that way we can also keep him as a rfa I believe if we sign him to 5 years but he will get paid he will use eberle an nuge for examples of there absolutely bogus 6,000,000 contracts an possibly demand 6.750
