Once again not even close for Jakob Chychrun, Quality for quality. Not quantity for quality Kerfoot and Dermott as main pieces isn't happening.

The trade for phoenix is the draft picks and prospect, those are the main pieces coming back in return. While Kerfoot and Dermott are not are players that can fill the line up until the picks phoenix makes along with the 12 picks they have are ready or can bundle to get someone from another team. Kerfoot and Dermott are the Alex Tuck part of the deal similar to the Eichel trade and to balance the cap numbers

Glad the Leafs don't have to adhere to cap restrictions this year and especially in the future.

A Mrazek for Driedger swap makes sense, a fresh start for both net minders. That wouldn't be enough for Oleksiak though, I'd suggest something more along the lines of

Kerfoot = Soucy
Mrazek = Driedger
Holl + 4th = Jarnkork w/ retention

This is on the assumption that Muzzin is on LTIR for the rest of the season. The following season they will likely have to move one of the defense which would likely be Muzzin as well
