I really like Zary.

First Sharks fan that has liked a Hertl trade (that I've seen). I think its good value for the Sharks, but don't know if GMBT will pull the trigger on a rental having to move Zary. I would personally do it.

I'm probably a bigger fan of Zary than most and losing Hertl we will need some kind of veteran presence to keep the Sharks decent and a good mentor for Eklund, Bordeleau and Monahan provides that.

I really think Hertl re-signs in SJ but if he we're on the move, this is a good trade. Though that 2nd likely needs to be a 1st and subtract Valimaki as we do not need anymore LD.

I think it makes the flames significantly better this year and frees up the necessary cap space next year. It’s a win win IMO
