Description

The Nick Ritchie experiment should be over. It’s one thing not to score, the Leafs have other options but if your not going to back check hard, hit people, or find other ways to help the team win, which he is not, it’s wasted cap space. Don’t care how Dubas does it, he needs to be traded. Clifford can fill in if they need some aggravation or Seney for some adding scoring.

Also, once Kase comes back, Marner needs to get demoted to the 2nd PP. Mitch has now gone 98 GAMES without a PP goal. Now I will agree he is not a goal scorer but Jesus come on. Ever since he has come back the 1st unit looks flat again. I’d like to see either Spezza or Kase take his spot or both moved back to the 1st PP and have two strong units.

We have no idea what GM’s value. There could be a team out there that: needs help getting to the cap floor next year; sees a big body that could help out; who knows. There have been plenty of bad contracts traded away before, and a 2.5 cap hit isn’t terrible. Yes the real dollars hurt a bit more but give a B prospect then or pick 🤷‍♂️
