I expect the cost to unload Byron to be roughly a 2nd or a 3rd with a prospect. If that needs to be more, thats fine need to free up some cap. Been hearing a lot on the Pens being interested in Gallagher, i assume habs need to retain some, a 2nd round pick seems about fair given the length of his contract but again that value could be altered and i would still do it on the mtl side, Losing gallagher would be tough as he is the heart and soul of the team but i think its a necessary move and he will get a chance at a cup in pittsburgh.
Drouin to edmonton would be a move at the deadline, if edmonton is looking to add a winger (i know they will probably be more focused on their defense) but was more to showcase what a package for him would be. I dont expect much for Drouin, i think 2 2nd's for a 50-60 point player with another year on his deal would be fair.

Hertl's contract is probably a little cheaper than it will end up being as i expect several teams will be interested in him. But i think MTL should be willing to spend. Adding Hertl would allow Dvorak to drop to a 3c role which i think is where he should be, Evans as a 4c is solid and Poehling has shown he can be a productive player on the wing and given that Evans also can play well on the wing it will provide our next coach with a lot of options.
