This is based off what I have read about the lines in camp, but also my thoughts moving forward.
Defensive
IF Zub works well with Chabot, keep him there they are within a year of each other and could really work as a great pairing. Let Brannstrom and JDB start in Belleville play all the minutes and situations develop chemistry then come to the NHL as a future 2nd pairing, so in the future, your D is spread out which is fine and looks like
Chabot - Zub
Brannstrom - JDB
Sanderson - xxxx
Forwards -
Give Brady the signing bonus and NMC clause he wants and get a 8 year deal done, I would even give him up to 9 per to make it but other players are gonna need to be paid.
It seems to me that they want to keep Stuzle on the wing which i am ok with. I put Tierney and Brown on his line because that feels like where they are going to insulate him and let him grow, however, I see Pinto moving there for some games this season and maybe be his long-term C. There is a need for either another C if Pinto doesn't grow to a 2C or RW to fill out the top 6, however, I think Boucher could fill that role.
I love the idea of a Formenton Sokolov combo with any combo of White, Pinto, or Teirney there to balance out the line, Sokolov lead Belleville playing on his off-wing the real question is can he do it at NHL level. So you move to something like this in the future adding in Greig, Jarventie, or other prospects in as they pan out.
Brady - Norris - Batherson
Stuztle - Pinto - Boucher
Formenton - White - Sokolov
Paul - Kastelic - C Borwn
Goalie -
Let Murray play his contract out or if he fails again buy him out. I think that Sogaard should be the starter in Belleville and he will be the Starter in the future when the team is a playoff team.
