Now that everyone is signed in 2021, I wanted to do a future look, this time with no big trades. I previously did one of these with Eichel. But, let's see how it looks "from within". Pending growth, I think this roster is strong enough to build from within and keep going.
Signing notes: I'm giving Zibanejad and Fox matching 9million dollar deals. I think they are both worth it. Fox gets more term since he is younger. You can plus or minus a mil or a half, but I think it's difficult to say it won't cost 18million to sign both of them. With Chytil moving up, Goodrow goes back to playing 3C like he did in SJS. Kakko and Kravstov get matching "show me" deals comparable to Chytil's 2 year deal this past year. You can sub out Kinkaid with any other relevant backup for a similar AAV, or Tyler Wall (who makes an appearance next year). In addition, this will be the make or break year for Chytil. If he is not performing up to a 2C, then a rental is picked up at the deadline, and Chytil is also potentially traded.
