My Final 2021 Offseason Predictions

Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

The Leafs have the potential to do very well this offseason. Here are my ideal signings. I would absolutely love Pius Suter, but I dont feel like the Leafs make a legitimate push for him considering the bidding war that will begin. His price will be too high.

Nick Ritchie: Huge powerforward who is capable of putting up points. He is from the GTA and would be a brilliant add for the Leafs to supplement the loss of Hyman. Good piece that can play up and down the lineup.

Galchenyuk: He's happy with the Leafs, played well with Nylander and Tavares, and will likely be cheap. Damn near perfect signing.

Bunting: He would be a brilliant add to the third line. Good netfront presence and would really help that third line become an offensive threat. Bunting is also from the GTA and has connections to Dubas and Keefe via the Soo Greyhounds.

Ho-Sang: Has been linked to the Leafs as of late and could definitely use a change of scenery. His talents have been wasted thus far in New York, and he hasn't been given a chance. This guy is a genuinely good player and I think he could be the best add of the offseason given his potential cap hit and skill set. Him and Bunting really complete that third line.

Mrazek: Has drawn interest from the Leafs as of late, would be a spectacular goalie to run a tandem with.

Freddy Gaudreau: I really like Gaudreau as a bottom 6 center option. Could be had for cheap and can chip in well

Like I said before, I think Pius Suter would be another slam dunk but there will be too much competition for him on the free agent market and he will get a huge contract. If he is signed, I also don't think Galchenyuk comes back which is an L considering how cheap he is relative to his skill set.
