Description

Just getting some middle six centers to fix the hole in the middle, before Johnson, Sillinger and Marchenko can take those spots.
Domi has just gone through surgery.
I see that Stastny will come bc he definitely had chemistry with Laine when they played together for WPG in their 2018 playoff run.
Henrique will be cheap and i think Anaheim wants to get rid of him, so if he just waives his m-ntc or Columbus is available, that should be it.
Need to get rid of other goalie and Edmonton definitely needs G so they want Korpisalo bc of his low caphit. Getting some picks and promising young goalkeeper in return.
I think Savard wants to return to CBJ, only thing there is that does he want only one year so he can be more easily traded to some contender at trade deadline.

Absolutely not. Konovalov is the Oilers best goalie prospect (not that he's set to be a star or anything certain), and having just passed on Wallstedt, management must believe pretty strongly in him, even though his draft pedigree is lower. Korpisalo was worse than Koskinen last season. Would rather just sit tight and ride out Koski as the backup for the season than do this.
