So let me get this straight, the bruins offer kase 2.6 million and he says, nahhhh, give me 850K?

Serious question...if he doesn't get a qualifying offer and becomes a UFA, can the Bruins make him an offer or does this go to arbitration?

I read that somewhere too but if they didn't and he became a UFA, could they then make a low-ball offer? I tried looking into it and short of reading the full CBA, I couldn't find any short answers online. Since by a lot of your replies on this forum gives me the impression that you're quite knowledgeable on these subject matters, I thought I'd give it a shot and ask.

Yes, its what I expected them to do. But since their GM got in front of cameras and said they’re qualifying him, i don’t think its worth spending too much bandwidth on.
