you will need to add on the Seatlle deal. They are not taking Johnson unless you give them a 1st rounder.
Also you won't re-sign goodrow for $1.5M....there will be other teams offering more.

You need much more than a 1st rounder. Another pick and decent prospect. Seattle has TB by the balls!

Detroit declines, not paying for rentals.

Palat is UFA in one year, no team will pay 3 picks for a player they will lose after one season.

Detroit is in a rebuild and Palat will be retired before Detroit is ready to challenge for a cup.

Since Yzerman became GM here he has not even once paid any assets for any player over 24 years of age.

^This and also you aren't sign Bernier for that little he has said he wants to stay in Detroit and he will get a raise from the 3 mill in his last contract because he played very well during that contract.
