COL has 23m next year. After signing Makar and Landeskog who much do you thinkis left ? Not much so this will give COL some Cap space.

they have enough to sign landeskog makar grubauer and jost to their contracts and have a 22man roster. They dont have to dump anyone if the dont want to

Absolutely the right pieces for Buffalo. One piece heavy too but that might be needed to get him to NY.

But they might still take less to get Byfield (unlikely) or Turcotte (possible) and keep Eichel out of NY. Either way, more than competitive offer even without Kakko.
