If Buffalo trades Eichel and Reinhart, could be something to Weber to Buffalo. But you probably don't want Risto. He's below average defensively and goes through long stretches where he completely forgets how to pass up ice.

I'm thinking more alone of the lines of the whole team doesn't want to rebuild again. They need to win now and I believe Weber is one of the best leaders in the game. They won't miss Risto and Montreal needs somebody who can create that first pass. The only real guy we currently have it Petry and he's 33 so it's time we find somebody else to help him. I don't really want Risto. but it works salary cap wise and it's not like there are a bunch of top 4 defenders on the market.

Then you REALLY don't want Risto if that's what you're looking for. Better off with Montour. All Risto really brings is a phsyical game.
