Gauthier is a physical specimen. He doesn’t have the same drive on the ice as he does in the gym. Awareness is an issue too.

I were the Rangers, I would trade to find a buyer for Strome and go get Danault. Even at an overpayment. He would center your shutdown line with Kreider and another winger. Chytil with Panarin because Panarin can make anyone good. Getting a hard charging, physical 4th line would make y’all pretty tough to beat

Hathaway is probably the type of player y'all might try to get.... but it won't be Hathaway specifically. Doesn't make sense for BMac to trade him to a division rival so they get tougher to play against, especially considering Rangers want to get tough in response to Washington's toughness.
