Détails additionnels:
Gotta think drouin has some value left, Shea Weber and price with those cap hits are nowhere near worth it anymore, could Seattle take price with a 2nd or 3rd attached lol, Weber I don’t know, and I’m sure someone would take drouin for another guy who needs a change of pace

You should be able to make a real hockey trade for drouin. No way you move price or Weber without paying or taking big cap back for them

no gm, either the one after bergy, or bergy, is trading price and weber, so get that out of your head. guys who could get traded include the likes of drouin, petry, edmundson, chiarot, byron, lehkonen. tatar and danault are ufa's and i don't know which one you bring back.

Price “might” consider waiving his NMC to go to SEA in the expansion draft... and I stress “might”.

His wife is from there (I believe).

He’s from BC (gets him closer to home).

I think he just wants out of MTL.

But does CH coaching/management/ownership want to move on? That’s the big question.

Weber: his contract is moveable. He doesn’t have any trade restrictions to start with, so he has no say in the matter. Plus, his actual salary is currently lower than his cap hit so a rebuilding team might find that appealing to reach the cap floor. He’s due salaries per year of 6M$, 3M$, 1M$, 1M$, and 1M$... even though his cap hit is north of 7M$. A rebuilding team would want that contract to reach the cap floor while paying hardly anything to him. Plus, he could provide leadership to said young group.

As for Drouin, there’s always a taker for a skilled player. I wonder if the Habs would have to eat some salary to make it work.

i dont see habs trading price nor him wanting to leave. same for weber. habs fans need to get that out of their heads. yes both are overpaid, but they aren't the core problem for this team.
