Description

- We will be pretty cap strapped, so we are going to have to take some cheap options. I love Josh Ho-Sang, a Toronto boy who hasnt gotten a real chance in the NHL. Could be a great cheap signing.
- Wait until after the expansion draft to resign Hyman in order to protect another forward. Seattle would be stupid to select Hyman because he would just come back in free agency assuming we are confident we can bring him back
- Let Freddy walk. Keep him on LTIR for now so his salary doesnt effect the team. Your current tandem of Campbell / Rittich can be a brick wall.
- Maybe work out a deal with Rittich to keep him as a leaf. I know Rittich can be inconsistent so if he doesn't find his game maybe look at a guy like Mrazek or Ullmark. Both good options to have a tandem with Campbell.
- Maybe take a look at a guy like Michael Bunting on Arizona if you're not confident Hyman is coming back. I think Hyman will, but if he doesn't a guy like Bunting could be a slam dunk. One of my personal favourite players
- Get a true shutdown 3C, Kerfoot has been mistaken as one for ages.
- Bring back Simmonds and Spezza for sure, bring back Thornton if they dont win a cup

It’s tough seeing Rittich and brick wall in the same sentence. That guy is what I like to call Mr. inconsistent, one game he’s the 2nd coming of Jesus, the next he can’t save a beach ball to save his life. At least he’ll only play 4-7 games for Toronto down the stretch.

I’d like to see how this plays out for Toronto, they are all in and I hope things don’t fall apart.
