im not a leaf fan, actually i like to watch them fail (live near toronto). but if they get Kuemper that would be an amazing fix for them. ya for this year it will help, but having a starter set for next year at 4.5mil is huge. i think that 1st pick, and a good prospect like you have it is reasonable. but if you have to put more in, still worth it.

would love that keumper trade but what's the timeline on his injury?

I’m okay with the Buffalo trade, I like it.

The Nashville trade... I’d rather keep Engvall. He’s been a good 3C for us and he only costs 1.25M for next year.

As for Kuemper... I’m unsure. Yes he’s good, but he’s also injury prone. Campbell also seems to be struggling with injuries a good amount this year. So we could end up relying on Hutch... not exactly what you want to be doing in the playoffs.
Also, Freddie was injured. I think he deserves the chance to prove he’s better than he played for the majority of this season. He has kept in many many games over the past few years. That’s not exactly a good thing to do to players, just send them off.
I think, if Andersen shows up to play when he returns, great. That’s amazing! and if not, we know it’s time to move on.
A goalie trade, or signing, makes more sense in the off-season anyways due to the expansion draft.
