Description

Next Season:
- assuming the Rangers resign all somewhat valuable to valuable RFA/UFA's.
- looking at this in a bubble, not making any trades.
- buyout ADA.
- contract values/length are a WAG at this point, not a lot of time spent there.
- assuming approximately $20M will be spent on resigning current players.
- leaves about $12-13M in cap, $15-16M if Strome goes in expansion (not accounting for potential bonus cushion)
- Strome, Lemieux, Howden or Gauthier taken in expansion.
- taxi squad is made up of players that could push to make team next season.

I'm conflicted on Eichel, of course it would be great at seeing him in NY, but it would also be nice to keep this young core intact. potentially target a lesser C in hopes that Mika can get out of his funk and become the true 1C he has been in the past 2 seasons. Maybe shift focus to getting another LD...
