Thats lot of money and picks to pay in an offer sheet for a power play specialist. Considering how awful this team has been at defending this year, I dont think a player like Laine who is almost invisible even strength is worth A. That money B. Those picks C. Is reasonable in your awful cap structure (thanks Jim) and D. Solves any of the problems of this team (besides power play)

I think the main thing this is meant to show is that although we have a awful cap structure right now but with picks like Hoglander, Rathborn, Poldoskin, Lind, Woo and Lockwood looking strong .... future looks good.

As long as he can push 30 or 40 goals a season I'm in on him. I don't care if they all come from the powerplay an elite LW is what we need to push us into contention.

88 EV vs 52 PP goals, yeah completely invisible EV.
