Why do you think Jost needs a new start?

He is what he is at this stage: a 4th liner who plays excellent defense and is fantastic on the PK. And there's a lot of value in a player like that for Colorado.

Indeed. Avs PK is ranked 2nd in the league, and Jost is a huge part of that.

I'd love to be roll a 4th line of Nichuskin-Jost -Calvert in the playoffs, they're tailor-made to eat the clock and kill penalties at an elite level. For that to happen though we need a 3C and maybe 3LW.
