Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

This is the best I’ve seen Tampa play on both ends of the ice as well as with balance throughout the lineup. All 4 lines have a guy with at least 4 goals, that 3rd line is proving it wasn’t just a one off and are still dominant, McDonaugh looks faster than he did the last 2 years. Thank god we didn’t trade away Yanni Gourde this off season he is anchoring that 3rd line. Tyler Johnson is playing well defensively, he doesn’t look as dangerous offensively but the team generally doesn’t shoot the puck as much in transition and instead just buttonhooks to try to increase offensive zone time. This team looks like the team to beat with 1/5 of the regular season played so far.

If JBB were to try to improve the team at the trade deadline, maybe I’d trade for a 4th liner on an expiring deal. Depending on the cost I’d bring Paquette back on retained salary

Also Stammer leads the team in goals which was expected but maybe not to fans of other teams thinking he was washed. He obv doesn’t compare to Kucherov in terms of impact on the game but he’s still extremely good
