And 5 years $30 million isn't going to get you Shattenkirk he's seeking 7x7 plus wants to play close to home near New York City to be closer to his family no way does he sign long term with Montreal. Weber and Petry are RD no way will Shatty play LD not happening.

Arizona are getting a Younger Center/Winger in Matteau and they could easily flip Plekenecs for Prospects. As for Shattenkirk, Montreal is alot closer to his Hometown than St.Louis, Also Montreal can still afford to give Shattenkirk 7m so what difference does it make, You can change that number to 7m if you want

Coyotes can't take that cap either (something like 3 mil. over with pleky) - shattenkirk trade might be fairly close to doable, depending on when it gets done.
