I would definitely say Johnsson is more gritty than Vesey

can't see why they wouldn't. vesey and simmonds 100% make the team, thornton will have to be like so bad to not make it, and he's got 2g 4a 6p in 5 games playing in Davos as the oldest dude on his team right now, warming up, so I think he can still play (4th on the team in points)

bogosian took less money to come to toronto, so he's got a lineup spot, no doubt



not $2.5M grittier tho. also, Vesey has proven he can actually score 14-17 goals a year, which is underrated a lot. He's a net front guy, huge, has similar hit numbers as johnsson (for what it's worth)

johnsson played with matthews all year and scored at a 30 point pace, vesey played on buffalo and had 20 points. Vesey is underrated and he could be a steal of a contract for 900K

it's an experiment and it could backfire horribly but idk, whatever, johnsson was basically useless for us at that cap hit, and we got a young connor brown for him and signed him 3 years, so I'm happy with the team
