Bear signing plus leaving room for potential klefbom return

I thought Khaira gets buried in the minors at this point. Don't think anyone takes on that contract when Oilers wouldn't have even resigned him this year.

Chaisson has value so I could see them trading him for a 4C (preferably RH)

Oilers run with the Goalies they have. A year of Kuemper isn't worth it considering his injury issues

Khaira has value. Elite penalty killer, top 5 league-wide in GA/60 on the PK among consistent penalty killers if i'm not mistaken. If he finds some offence he can become a very good 4th maybe 3rd liner.

When cap space is at a premium, he isn't worth 1.2M.

Its Smith that needs replacing, not Koskinen. Try finding a way to remove Smith and add Raanta instead.

Yeah I just didn’t know how else to make the cap work for a klefbom return. I didn’t even look at raantas contract I’ll look into it. I also don’t know if smith would waive the no trade clause
