This is not realistic at all. Chara would not come here, nor does he really fit the rebuild at this stage. Markstrom is injury prone and too risky and Galchenyuk, just... why? Furthermore, Staal is still an NHL player and will not be a scratch, while Dekeyser is probably going to miss the whole season coming back from his injury...

DeKeyser said he's fine he's not going to miss the season, And Friedman mentioned in his 31 thoughts podcast that Chara to DET is a real possibility.

I didn't catch that... Friedman is legit, so, if he said it, I stand corrected on the validity of Chara coming here.

As for Dekeyser, if you read up on the surgery he had and the recovery time, I'd take that bet. I don't want to sound too doom and gloom, but he might never play again... hopefully I'm wrong, but I just don't feel too optimistic about him playing anytime soon.

A center short term has to be a priority. Turris was bought out or maybe wallmark who wasn't tendered in Florida. Id love kahun but he will be in demand I think.
