Not a bad number and term for Holtby, I think Ian Clark thinks he can re-polish his game. Gives the Canucks a goalie to expose in the expansion draft. Also gives Dipietro time to develop in the AHL for the remainder of his ELC.

They have to be reserving some space to sign a Dman next in my eyes. Could it be Tyson Barrie? Jim went hard after him at last years draft before he was dealt to Toronto. I think his value has dropped a bit, is 4M AAV fair? I think Tanev is in the same tier as Barrie, and that the Canucks have circled back to him.

Gaudette isnt getting much on his deal, he has zero negotiating leverage being a 10.2C RFA. Will come in at 1.5M or less IMO.

Virtanens leash just keeps getting longer, can see him signing under the 3M mark for a multi year deal.

Looks like Jim will be forced to bring in some young blood on the blueline, will be 2 of Juolevi, Rathbone, Chatfield, Rafferty out of camp. Which 2 do you think make it? I picked Juolevi and Chatfield as it seems Jim is highest on those 2 from his statements.

Does Hoglander crack the lineup? If not maybe Kole Lind? If neither are ready there is space to have Baertschi or Eriksson as an extra forward.
