The value is ok but if tampa can aford to sign virtanen and gaudette they can afford cernak. Now if they sign serg and cirelli and move a bunch of forwards doing it maybe they do something like that.

This goes with the assumption that they sign Sergachev and Cierelli first. Plus Cernak can be offer sheeted up to $4.2M for just a 2nd Rounder so this gives Tampa a chance to get more value.

- Gaudette has no Arb rights and can't be offersheeted, so TB can probably get him down to 950K if they sign him.
- Virtanen can be used as an asset and flipped somewhere else or as a sweetner (idk)

He's more offensively driven and would most likely be a third line energy C/RWer right now. If we had a full season he would have hit 40pts

His ceiling is probably a middle-six forward that plays PP2, but he'd be cost controlled which is nice.
