    I know Lucic is now **** and not the best example, but back in 2016, he was really good and the biggest FA on the market.

    Yeah I was just being an asshole Toronto guy, sorry. Feel like Lucic came because Oilers overpaid relative to others. Is that true? Wingers definitely should be jumping to play in Edmonton. I love watching the Oilers, and the big boys, but from what I saw in the playoffs, coach better keep RNH stapled to Draisaitl. For how good he is, man the d game is lacking.

    I heard a team offered Lucic 7M, but he came to Edmonton to play with McDavid
    yeah, mcdavid/drai aint the best defensively. When they play together, they're even worse defensively. RNH kind of helps Drai, but McDavid needs a good 2 way winger too so I acquired Ehlers

    Ehlers with McDavid would be great. It's tough with the dmen. My understanding is that they are on the way for Edmonton, but it's going to take some time. And every year with McDavid not in the playoffs competing is a waste.
