Hey Pens fans! I figured we could build a team post draft lottery tonight.

I will do two scenarios, one which we win Alex L and the other will be we do not (this one). Lets discuss the next roster move and I'll edit the roster as we go and agree on the moves. This should be fun.

I have started this one by simply aligning lines with what we have signed for next season.

While the next roster move, that I would prefer, would be to buyout JJ; there has never been a buyout in the history of the Penguins, so precedent tells me we'll have to bank on trade (which we all know is unlikely.) So, my first roster move I would suggest is: Trade Nick Bjugstad to the WPG Jets for Mathieu Perreault.

Why: They have similar cap hits, similar org needs (WPG needs another big bodied center / PIT needs a speed #3 LW (that can take draws)).

Bjugstad’s buyout is 650,000 for a season. That’s a drop in the bucket to rid us of that awful salary

Hang on to make this easier...lets have one person suggest a move and discuss...easier to follow.

So lets start with Bjustad. One person is suggesting move him for Perrault at WPG. Thoughts? I don' think we will buy him out personally. GMJR doesn't operate that way unfortunately.
